Youth Atlanta Mission Trip

Why Atlanta?

Imagine one of the most diverse communities in America where 60-70% of the population is foreign-born, representing over 145 different countries and 761 different language groups! This is the International Village of Atlanta, GA including the communities of Doraville, Clarkston, and Chamblee. Known as the “Ellis Island of the South,” there are great needs, but there are also great opportunities for churches and individuals to invest in the residents of this unique community.

Servant Life is excited to send short-term teams into these Atlanta communities for a week of ministry to help meet the needs of the community― to show the love of Christ with our actions, and to gain a better understanding of how to reach those from different religious backgrounds.

What will my team be doing?

The International Village is like no other place on the planet! The whole world has come to us and is living in the apartment complexes where your team will serve. In the mornings your team will feel as if they’ve been transported to another country like Japan, China, Vietnam, Algeria and the Middle East, India, and South America! We will go on daily cultural immersion experiences where we will learn about different world religions and how to share our faith in an easy, non-threatening way.

After lunch each day, we will head to a local apartment complex to lead Bible clubs, tutoring, sports, and more.

Cost: $625
